Jasmine breeding three methods

Cutting method

Jasmine cuttings are easier to survive, but they need to be carried out during the growing season (June to October) and are best during the rainy season. Cuttings should be selected as new shoots (low survival rate of old shoots), 4 to 5 nodes and more than two pairs of shoots, 10 cm to 15 cm in length. The incision should be close to the section, the lower incision should be about 1 cm below the festival, and the upper incision should be about 1 cm above the section. The upper incision should be cut into slant to prevent water rot. The leaves retain only the top 1 to 2 pairs of leaves, and each leaf can also be cut in the upper half, then the cuttings are inserted into the soil about 5 cm. About 20 sticks can be cut in a 30 cm diameter flowerpot. After the cuttings, place the flower pots in the shade, avoid direct sunlight, and pay attention to water spray, but do not over damp. About a month later, the leaves can sprout and grow for two months or so. At this time, it is still not advisable to allow direct sunlight in the hot sun. In the spring of the following year, the pots should be changed and planted.

Pinching

Batten propagation occurs before the summer solstice every year. Select the first or second year branch, about 45 to 60 centimeters long. Press down at 15 centimeters from the mother plant and press it into the other pot. Cover the soil with about 10 centimeters. Note that the part pressed into the soil must be knotted, and the knot must be scratched to make it easy to take root. After the beading, rooting can take place in about 30 days and the mother can be cut off after 50 days. After another 10 days, it will be planted and it is hopeful to blossom.

Branch propagation

The ramets should be carried out before the peak season in spring. Family flowers can be used to turn over the pot, the mother plants were divided into several branches, sub-pot cultivation, reliable survival. After the new strain should pay attention to shading and watering.
