First, the difficulty of unloading the mold, that is, the upper punch, the lower punch or the middle mold can not be taken out in the hole.
Causes: (1) The die size or the die hole size of the tablet press is unqualified, and the fit is too tight; (2) The table top is rusted.
Solution:
(1) Pay attention to the installation if it is found that the fit is too tight;
(2) Wipe the mating surface and apply a layer of oil film during installation. Do not remove the die to clean the mating surface for a long time, apply anti-rust oil, and keep it properly.
Second, the overlapping piece is the two feedings pressed into one piece.
Cause: When the tablet is adjusted, the handwheel has not been ejected and the handwheel is reversed to cause the feeder to repeatedly feed, resulting in overlapping sheets.
Solution: Be careful not to reverse when adjusting. If you have repeatedly added the material but have not yet become a superimposed piece, you can slowly reverse the handwheel to lift the top of the tablet to remove the added material and pull out the tablets. If it has been pressed into an overlapping piece and the car is topped, it will be handled according to the top car (see Single punch tablet machine common faults and solutions (1)).
3. Jumping and Fragmentation When the tablet is shot, it is too bounce or broken.
cause:
(1) The film is not properly adjusted, and the lower punch surface is lower than the middle mold plane. When the tablets come out, they are blocked and even crushed;
(2) The middle mold fixing screw is loose, and the middle mold rises to block the sheet.
Solution:
(1) Turn the handwheel to raise the lower punch to the high position, and observe whether the lower punch surface is aligned with the plane of the middle mold (or high or low will affect the output). If not, loosen the butterfly screw and loosen the gear press plate. Move the gear so that the lower punch surface is aligned with the plane of the middle die, then press the platen up and tighten the thumb screw.
(2) Adjust the fastening medium mold.
4. The burr and the rupture piece The tablet is scratched from the inner surface of the middle mold and even the tablet is broken.
cause:
(1) The middle mold finish is unqualified or worn and scratches the circumferential surface of the tablet. At the same time, the tablet is cracked due to the unsmoothness of the film.
(2) Miscibility of the granulation of the ingredients occurs, resulting in a burr or a crack.
Solution: (1) Replace the middle mold (Note: the middle mold can be turned over after one side wears, use the other side);
(2) Reprocessing the drug.
5. Pills are not only the surface of the tablets has pits or uncovering.
Causes: (1) the surface of the punch is not only; (2) improper granulation of the ingredients.
Solution: (1) repair the punch; (2) reprocess the drug.
Sixth, the tablets are loose. That is, the tablets are not enough, loose and brittle, and the layers are lifted.
Causes: (1) insufficient pressure; (2) improper granulation of ingredients.
Solution: (1) adjust the pressure; (2) re-treat the drug.
Seven, the film is not stable, that is, the difference in film weight is too large.
cause:
(1) The undercut fastening screw is loose, and the lower punch is raised to feed the filling amount.
(2) The butterfly screw is loose, and the lower adjustment wheel rotates to change the filling amount;
(3) The particles are tight and the size is not uniform.
Solution:
(1) Press the lower punch to the end and tighten the lower punch fixing screw;
(2) readjust and tighten;
(3) Pay attention to the granulation of the ingredients, especially when crushing the pieces and crushing them.
