In recent years, molecular diagnostic technology has rapidly emerged in the domestic market. In 2010, China's in vitro diagnostic market scale was 2.07 billion US dollars (about 13.68 billion yuan), of which 5% of the share was occupied by emerging molecular diagnostics. Although the proportion of domestic molecular diagnosis is not large at present, its annual growth rate is twice that of the world, and it is the fastest growing field in domestic in vitro diagnosis.

Traditional PCR methods play an important role in the genetic diagnosis, food analysis and environmental monitoring of human and animal and plant diseases. Their sensitivity and specificity are the most accurate methods for gene diagnosis. However, the PCR method is complicated to operate, requires relatively high requirements for instruments and personnel, and is not suitable for rapid diagnosis at the grassroots level or in the field. Therefore, the promotion speed at the domestic grassroots level is not very fast.

In 2000, Japanese scholar Notomi published a new gene diagnosis technique in the journal Nucleic Acids Res, namely LAMP (Loop-mediated isothermal amplification), which is called "loop-mediated isothermal amplification reaction" and was accepted by WHO WHO. In recent years, the technology has been successfully applied to the detection of SARS, avian influenza, HIV and other diseases. Through the promotion of Rongyan Company for nearly ten years, LAMP technology has been widely used. In Japan, various viruses, bacteria, parasites and other diseases, food and cosmetic safety inspections and rapid diagnosis of import and export, and have been recognized by European and American countries. In addition to high specificity and high sensitivity, the LAMP method is very simple to operate, requires low equipment and equipment, and can be reacted in a water bath or incubator. The result is also very simple to detect and does not require gelation like PCR. Electrophoresis, the results of LAMP reaction are judged by visual observation of the formation of white turbidity or green fluorescence, which is simple and quick, and is suitable for rapid diagnosis of the base layer.

It is foreseeable that in the field of genetic diagnosis in the future, the LAMP method will occupy a large territory.
