When your gel electrophoresis is almost finished, turn on the switch on the back of the eStain L1 protein stainer, and the instrument beeps. Inject a proper amount of distilled water into the tray to completely infiltrate the gel. Step 3. Remove the gel retaining clip from the instrument, place the infiltrated gel horizontally on the mesh surface of the gel retaining clip, and then lay the monolithic filter paper infiltrated in the tray on the gel. Close the gel clip. Step 4. Insert the gel clip into one of the channels of the instrument in a directional orientation (as shown in the figure below, the gel clip is inserted into the B channel of the instrument) Step 5. Press the START B button at the bottom of the main screen, the instrument will start to dye, and the main interface will display as shown below. Note: * One end of the inner surface of the fixed clip is tiled horizontally. Refer to the figure below to ensure that the gel is placed in the same direction and as close as possible to the center axis when the gel does not exceed the net amount.
Note: When installing the gel fixing clip, it should be noted that the one with the mesh surface is facing the operator, and then the gel fixing clip is inserted vertically into the channel groove. If the gel fixing clip is inserted in the wrong direction, the instrument may be damaged.
