Maintenance and maintenance of corn harvester

Correct maintenance is an important condition to prevent failure of the corn harvester and ensure high quality, high efficiency, low consumption, and safe work. In this issue, we took the example of the Revo Valley CB03 self-propelled corn harvester to introduce readers to the common knowledge of corn harvester maintenance and maintenance.

First, class maintenance (8 hours per shift)

1. Thoroughly inspect and clean up all parts of the corn harvester, as well as corn plugs, crushing stems, and other plugs. In particular, clean the picking table, the spike elevator, and the settlement near the engine stand, etc. To clear the transmission input wheel sludge.

2. Check engine air filter, basin strainer and main filter element (paper filter element), as well as dust accumulation on the radiator grid, and increase the number of cleanings in the class if necessary.

3. Check the condition of each fastener, including each drive shaft bearing seat (especially the left and right axle shaft bearing housing of the drive axle), the tight set nut and fixing bolt, the eccentric sleeve, the engine power output pulley, the elevator shaft input Sprockets, rear drive belt pulleys, picking table intermediate shaft sprocket, intermediate transmission pulleys, continuously variable wheel shank shaft cotter pins, travel wheel fixing bolts, engine mount fixing bolts, etc.

4. Check whether the connectors, transmissions, etc. are loose, fall off, damaged, and whether the clearance, distance, and tightness of each part meet the requirements. Check whether there is any deformation or cracking in each welding part, whether the wearing parts are serious, whether they are damaged, and remove the hidden troubles in time.

5. Check the degree of tension in the conveyor chain of each elevator.

6. Check the tension of the V-type tape.

7. Check the tension of the drive chain. When pulling the middle of the loose edge, the chain should have a deflection of 20-30 mm.

8. Check the oil level of the hydraulic system tank, and whether there is oil leakage in each joint and the working conditions between the various actuators.

9. Check the reliability of the brake system. Check whether the axle shafts on both sides of the gearbox are moving (there are periodic collision sounds when walking).

Second, lubrication

1. Lubricating oil should be placed in a clean container and dust should be prevented from entering. Oiling instruments such as oil guns should be kept clean.

2. The grease nipple, filler cap and its surroundings must be wiped before filling.

3. Always check the sealing condition and working temperature of the bearing. If the sealing performance is poor and the working temperature increases, the lubrication should be promptly performed and the corresponding lubrication cycle must be shortened.

4. The drive chain mounted on the outside should be lubricated every shift. When it is lubricated, it must be stopped. After the dust on the chain is cleaned, it is lubricated with a brush.

5. Each drawbar joint and lever mechanism hinge should be lubricated with oil.

6. After the test run of the gearbox is completed, change the oil and check the oil once a week. Replace the oil once a year.

7. Check the oil level in the hydraulic tank once a week. After each season, clean the strainer once a year. Change the hydraulic oil every year. When you change the oil, you should first crush the harvesting platform and stalks, return the machine to the ground, and then put the oil. Do a fresh oil change.

8. When overhauling the corn harvester, remove the roller bearing and clean it, and inject grease.

Third, the use of ordinary V-type belt and variable speed V-type belt and maintenance

1. When loading and unloading the V-belt, loosen the tensioner fixing bolts, or loosen the CVT tensioning bolts and bolt shaft nuts. Do not push the belts down or push them hard. If necessary, you can turn the belt pulley to step down the tape or on the disk, but do not be too repulsive so as not to damage the internal structure of the tape or to damage the shaft.

2. When the pulley is installed, the symmetrical center plane of the pulley groove in the same circuit (for the continuously variable wheel, the moving wheel should be in the position of the symmetrical center plane), the positional deviation is not greater than 0.3% of the center distance (usually short center distance tolerance 2 - 3 mm, allowable deviation of centre distance 3-4 mm).

3. Always check the tension of the tape. Loosening too tight will shorten its life.

4. The machine will not be used for a long time and the tape should be relaxed.

5. Do not apply oil on the tape. When it is stained with grease, wash it with soapy water.

6. Note that the working temperature of the tape cannot be too high, generally not exceeding 60 degrees Celsius.

7. The V-belt works on both sides. If the bottom of the V-belt contacts the bottom of the pulley groove, it means that the tape or pulley is worn and needs to be replaced.

8. Regularly clean the debris in the pulley groove to prevent rust and reduce the wear of the tape and pulley.

9. When the pulley rotates, no large swinging phenomenon is allowed so as not to shorten the service life of the tape.

10. When the rim has a notch or deformed opening, it should be repaired and replaced in time.

11. The tape should be kept in a cool, dry place. When it is hung, it should be avoided as much as possible.

Fourth, the use and maintenance of the chain

1. The sprocket in the same transmission circuit should be installed in the same plane, and the positional deviation of the tooth center of symmetry is not greater than 0.2% of the center distance.

2. When installing the chain, the end of the chain can be wound around the sprocket to facilitate the connection of the chain links. The connecting links should be threaded outwards from the inside of the chain so that the coupling plate and lock fasteners can be mounted from the outside.

3. After the chain has been used for extension, if the amount of adjustment of the tensioner is insufficient, the two links can be removed and used. If the chain is often crawled or skipped during work, it means that the pitch has been extended to the point where it cannot be used, and the new chain should be replaced.

4. When disassembling the chain to punch the pin of the chain, the two pins of the chain should be rotated in turn. If the pins of the pin have become impacted during use, they should be worn off. When hitting, the material should be cushioned under the link so as not to bend the chain plate.

5. The chain should be lubricated on time in order to increase the service life, but the lubricating oil must be added to the mating surface of the pin shaft and the sleeve. Therefore, lubrication should be removed regularly. After unloading, wash it with kerosene, put it in the oil or add grease to the oil and heat it for 20-30 minutes. After cooling, remove the chain, drip off the excess oil and clean the surface. Dust is attached to the work to accelerate the wear of the chain drive. If not boiled, soak in oil overnight.

6. The sprocket teeth can be used in reverse after wear, but the installation accuracy of the transmission surface must be guaranteed.

7. Do not mix old and new chain links in the same chain so as to avoid impact due to errors in the old and new pitches and to break the chain.

8. The sprocket with heavy wear can not be equipped with a new chain, so as to avoid the new chain accelerated wear due to the poor pitch of the transmission pair.

9. When the machine is stored, the chain should be removed, cleaned and oiled back into place, preferably wrapped in paper and stored in a dry place. After the surface of the sprocket is cleaned, grease is applied to prevent corrosion.

Fifth, the use and maintenance of tires

1. Every day before working on the corn harvester, check the tire pressure according to the regulations. When the tire pressure does not conform to the regulations, the work is prohibited. The test tire pressure should be performed when the tire is cold.

2. The tires must not be contaminated with oil and paint.

3. The corn harvester should inspect the tires after working every day. In particular, remove the dirt inside the tread and check the tires for inclusions such as nails, glass, and stones.

4. Summer work due to the impact of high temperature tires, air pressure is easy to increase, at this time is prohibited to reduce the pressure of fever tires.

5. When the left and right tires wear unevenly, the left and right tires can be used interchangeably.

6. When installing the tire, it should be done on a clean floor. Before installation, the inner surface of the tire and the outside of the inner tube should be cleaned, and a thin layer of talc powder should be sprinkled. Then, the inner tube should be packed into the tire. Care should be taken to avoid folding. After placing the valve in the hole, the bead is placed between the tire and the inner tube and placed in the rim.

7. When the machine is stored for a long time, the tire must be emptied.
